At Caveoni Homes & Rentals, we are committed to providing exceptional guest experiences and maintaining transparent refund practices. This Refund & Returns Policy outlines how refunds, reservation cancellations, booking modifications, and related matters are handled on our platform.

By making a reservation with Caveoni Homes & Rentals, guests acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined below.

1. Overview

Due to the nature of vacation rental accommodations and reservation-based services, refunds are subject to timing, booking conditions, property availability, and operational considerations.

This policy applies to:

  • Vacation rental reservations
  • Property bookings
  • Reservation modifications
  • Cancellation-related refunds
  • Service interruptions or operational issues

2. Full Refund Eligibility

Guests are eligible for a full 100% refund when:

  • A reservation is cancelled at least 48 hours before the scheduled check-in time
  • Caveoni Homes & Rentals cancels the reservation due to operational or unforeseen circumstances
  • Duplicate or accidental charges occur
  • A booking cannot be honored due to property unavailability

Approved full refunds will include the total booking amount paid, excluding non-refundable third-party transaction fees where applicable.

3. Partial Refund Eligibility

Guests may qualify for a partial refund under the following circumstances:

  • Reservations cancelled within 12 hours of check-in
  • Approved early departure requests
  • Certain service interruptions affecting part of a reservation
  • Property-related concerns verified by Caveoni Homes & Rentals management

Partial refunds are typically calculated based on unused reservation nights or affected portions of the stay. However, for multi-day reservations cancelled after check-in, guests may still receive a full refund for any remaining unused nights after the cancellation date, excluding nights already used.

4. No Refund Situations

Refunds may not be issued in situations including, but not limited to:

  • Cancellations made after the official 3:00 PM check-in time on the reservation start date
  • Failure to arrive without prior notice (no-show reservations)
  • Violations of house rules or property policies
  • Guest misconduct resulting in removal from the property
  • Dissatisfaction related to factors outside Caveoni’s control
  • Weather conditions that do not prevent access to the property

However, for multi-day reservations cancelled after check-in, guests may still receive a full refund for any remaining unused nights after the cancellation date, excluding nights already used.

5. Host-Initiated Cancellations

In rare situations where Caveoni Homes & Rentals must cancel a reservation due to circumstances including, but not limited to:

  • Property damage or maintenance emergencies
  • Utility failures
  • Safety concerns
  • Severe weather conditions
  • Natural disasters
  • Government restrictions
  • Unexpected operational issues

Guests will receive a full 100% refund of all payments made for the affected reservation.

Where possible, alternative accommodation options may also be offered.

6. Refund Processing Timeline

Approved refunds are generally processed within:

  • 5–30 business days for card payments
  • 10–35 business days for international transactions
  • Additional processing time depending on financial institutions or payment providers

Please note that processing times may vary depending on your bank, payment method, or location.

7. Booking Modifications

Reservation changes, including date modifications or shortened stays, are subject to:

  • Property availability
  • Pricing adjustments
  • Approval by Caveoni Homes & Rentals

Modification requests may result in additional charges or adjusted refund amounts.

8. Early Departures

Guests choosing to depart before their scheduled check-out date may not automatically qualify for refunds.

Refunds for unused nights are reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may depend on:

  • Timing of the request
  • Rebooking opportunities
  • Property policies
  • Operational considerations

9. Returns Policy

As Caveoni Homes & Rentals primarily provides accommodation and hospitality services rather than physical retail products, traditional merchandise returns generally do not apply.

However, if physical items, gift packages, or promotional products are purchased through Caveoni Homes & Rentals, return eligibility may depend on:

  • Product condition
  • Delivery status
  • Manufacturer policies
  • Time since delivery

Approved physical product returns may be subject to restocking or shipping fees.

10. Non-Refundable Fees

Certain charges may be non-refundable, including but not limited to:

  • Payment processing fees

12. Fraud Prevention & Abuse

Caveoni Homes & Rentals reserves the right to deny refunds where fraudulent activity, abuse of refund policies, chargeback manipulation, or policy violations are suspected.

Accounts involved in suspicious activity may be restricted or permanently removed from the platform.

13. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes

Guests are encouraged to contact Caveoni Homes & Rentals directly before initiating payment disputes or chargebacks.

Unauthorized or fraudulent chargebacks may result in:

  • Account suspension
  • Reservation cancellation
  • Additional administrative fees
  • Collection actions where legally permitted

14. Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against:
